Mental health care that looks deeper
Root-cause care for anxiety, depression and ADHD. We look at hormones, gut health, nutrients, inflammation and genetics, and use medication thoughtfully, at the lowest effective dose, when it's needed.
Is this you?
Go beyond symptom management
Many doctors spend 15 minutes with you, write a prescription and rarely follow up. Integrative psychiatry takes the time to find out what is driving your symptoms.

Advanced testing
It starts with data
Metabolic psychiatry looks at how your brain and body systems interact. Testing shows what is contributing to your symptoms, so treatment is precise rather than trial and error.
What we look at
Why it matters
- Finds deficiencies that affect mood, focus and energy
- Shows inflammation linked to anxiety and depression
- Predicts medication sensitivities
- Guides a plan built for your biochemistry
Treatment
More than a prescription
Your plan combines several tools, chosen from your results and adjusted as you improve. The goal is lasting balance, not dependency.
Medication management
- Evidence-based prescribing when needed
- Lowest effective dose
- Shortest necessary duration
- Always alongside nutrition and lifestyle support
Nutraceuticals
- Key nutrients and minerals
- Amino acids
- Adaptogens
- Matched to your labs and metabolism
Mind-body medicine rounds out your plan: mindfulness, breathwork, somatic awareness and nervous system regulation to calm the stress response and build resilience.

How is metabolic psychiatry different from traditional psychiatry?
It looks beyond symptoms to what is causing anxiety, depression, fatigue or mood changes. Along with medication when it's needed, it uses lab testing, nutrition, hormones, gut health and lifestyle to restore balance.
Who can benefit?
Anyone with anxiety, depression, burnout, fatigue, brain fog, insomnia or emotional ups and downs, especially people who haven't found relief with medication alone or want a root-cause approach.
What tests might you order?
Depending on your symptoms: hormones, thyroid, cortisol, gut microbiome, inflammation markers, genetics and nutrient levels. The results guide a more precise plan.
Can you manage or taper my medications?
Yes. Integrative medication management means we can continue, adjust or taper medications safely while treating the underlying causes with nutrition, supplements and lifestyle support.
Do you prescribe stimulants for ADHD?
No. I treat ADHD with non-stimulant options, along with nutrition, testing and lifestyle support.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Most patients notice changes in mood, energy and focus within a few weeks. Deeper metabolic and hormonal balance can take several months.
Are visits in person or virtual?
Both. In-person visits are at 6850 Austin Center Blvd, Building Two, Suite 320 (inside Therapy Space), and video visits are available anywhere in Texas.
