Direct Primary Care is a membership-free, cash-pay model where patients pay directly for their care without using insurance. In my virtual DPC practice, you get convenient online visits for acute concerns, chronic condition management, preventative care, medication management, and labs—without surprise bills or insurance limitations.

Do you accept insurance for visits?

Accepted Answer

No. My practice is 100% cash pay, which allows longer visits, transparent pricing, and better access.

If you have insurance: you can still use it for labs, imaging, or prescriptions at outside facilities if you choose.

I am also happy to provide you with a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Are virtual primary care visits safe and effective?

Yes. Most primary care concerns can be safely addressed through secure video visits— especially medication refills, chronic disease management, mental health, gut issues, hormones, weight concerns, skin issues, lifestyle counseling, and follow-ups.

If you need in-person care, imaging, or labs, I coordinate those for you locally.

Do you offer in-person visits?

At this time, my practice is virtual only, available anywhere in Texas. Sometime in the Spring of 2026, I expect to see patients in person as well.

If you need labs, imaging, or vitals, I help coordinate them at a facility near you.

Can you prescribe medications as a virtual primary care provider in Texas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Texas, I can prescribe most medications including chronic disease medications, mental-health medications, hormone therapy (BHRT), weight-loss medications, anti-infectives and antibiotics when appropriate.

Please note: I do not prescribe controlled substances (opioid pain medications, ADHD medications). The only controlled substance I prescribe is testosterone.

Can you order labs or imaging if you're a virtual provider?

Absolutely. I can order bloodwork, hormone panels, metabolic panels, and imaging such as X-rays, ultrasound, mammogram, CT, and MRI. You can choose insurance-based or cash-pay pricing at local partner labs.

Often yes. Cash-pay avoids hidden fees, copays, deductibles, and facility fees. Many patients find virtual cash-pay care more affordable, faster, and more personalized than insurance-based clinics.

No. I offer virtual primary care throughout the entire state of Texas.

I offer transparent pricing: new patient visits including labs and a welcome kit are $300, follow-up visits are $125, and acute/urgent care visits are $75. Since there is no insurance involvement, there are no hidden fees.
